How to request admission in two or more centers?

Requests for admission are studied and resolved only by the School or Institute to which they are presented. If you wish to apply for admission to two or more centers (for example, Medicine and Pharmacy), you may do so, filling out two or more applications and paying 30 € for each additional application. It is necessary to indicate the order of preference for the programs of study solicited.

It will not be necessary to fill out a new application form if the degree programs belong to the same center (for example, Journalism and Audiovisual Communication, given that both belong to the School of Communication). However, in the case of applying for admission to the degree programs of Architecture and Construction Engineering, two application forms must be filled out.

What about double degrees?

In case of applications for admission for double degrees (for example: Law + Business Administration or Journalism + Philosophy), it is sufficient to present a single application form, since this form includes the possible requests to study separately, if so desired, one of the degree programs that make up the double degree.

2. Credential Letter

Once the student fully completes the application process, the Admission Service will send a credential letter confirming the date, time and location of the entrance exam.

Important: Please, do not forget the credential letter and your identity card on the day of the entrance exam. It is mandatory to show both documents in order to acces the exam.

3. Entrance Exams

Every School at the University organizes its own entrance exam. The main objective is to evaluate the intellectual capacities and aptitudes of the applicants. Previous preparation is not required.

Students must take the entrance exam in their corresponding School, on the following date:

Entrance exam lasts aproximately 3 hours.

4. Response

The resolution will be sent to the home address that is listed on the application form.
See more details about the dates in the web page about the admission deadlines.

Admission Criteria

In order to give a response to the admission applicants, the University takes into account two things mainly:

  • Grade point average during Secondary School
  • University Entrance Exam

The importance of each one of these factors in the final response:

School Grade point average in Secondary School Entrance Exam
School of Medicine 30% 70%
Schools of Sciences, Pharmacy and Engineering 70% 30%
